Here at Van Dooren Rottweiler's we believe that owning a Rottweiler is a big responsibility and is not for everyone. However, if you do decide that owning a Rottweiler is for you, we suggest and encourage training from an early age. Owning a well-mannered Rottweiler is a lot of fun and can bring joy to anyone's life. The opposite can be said for owning a Rottweiler with little or no training.

    We believe that training should start the day you bring home your new puppy. A young Rottweiler puppy should be well-socialized with kids, adults, and other dogs. This is a good foundation for the start of anyone's training program and will make it easier to progress into more advanced training. All our Rottweiler puppies are well-socialized with kids and our other dogs. We also recommend crate training your puppy from the first day it arrives at your house. Crate training is a must if you're planning on keeping your Rottweiler in the house as a family pet.

We can offer training services ranging from basic to advanced obedience, training for the show ring, and personal protection training. Joining a training group is a great way to socialize your puppy or young adult with people and other Rottweilers.
